Whilst at Kendal, I also found a burial record for a Jane Adamthwaite on 22 Jan 1822 at Appleby St Lawrence. We did know of this record, but had previously thought this Jane was aged 20 when she died, so had assumed that she was another daughter of William Adamthwaite and Hannah (Whitesmith) of the BLUE line. However, it was clear that she was actually 80 when she died - which means that in all likelihood it is Jane (Devis), widow of William Adamthwaite of the GREY line.
