Notes: William Adamthwaite was buried 8 oct 1696 Sedbergh ‘William of Frostraw’ and is the earliest member of the Sedbergh Adamthwaites that we have identified with any certainty.

He was possibly a son of 'William the Quaker' who died in 1675 who was married to Ellen who died in 1658
