Note: there is some mystery as to the identity of Martha Dimmock,
one of the witnesses to this will. In the 1841 census she was a servant
in John Allen Adamthwaite's household - however following the death of
John Allen Adamthwaite (his wife Susan had died a few years earlier), by
the time of the 1851 census the four Adamthwaite boys had become wards
of Martha Dimmock and were living with her in Stoke Newington. If you
know more, please let us know!
